I just saw, “Crazy, Stupid, Love” last weekend, and let me say… Ryan Gosling is hot!  So when I saw this post by Gertie from Gertie’s New Blog for Better Sewing on him and his meme, I just had to check it out.

And boy, I wasn’t disappointed. Check it out for yourself.

Now, let me preface this by saying that Ryan Gosling isn’t my type. At all. Well, except for the muscles part…what girl doesn’t like a well-defined man? 😀 He’s blond, his face is funny, and if he wasn’t so muscled, he’d look a bit too boyish. My type is more dark hair, square face, muscular build, and, frankly, not 20 years old. The fact that my daughter has to tell me that both my ex-husband (aka “SuperDad”) and my boyfriend (aka “Sasquatch”) look alike is a bit disturbing, but also indicative that I do have a type. Douchey-looking preppy guys also don’t fit the bill for me. But the classic manliness that Ryan Gosling portrays should be evidence enough that women WILL fall for a guy who takes care of himself, appears confident, and dresses well. Women like suave and mysterious. Ryan is case in point! (So are men like George Clooney.)
